What a wonderful project you can put together with your son or daughter! These Azusa go kart kits include everything you need except the engine, clutch, (who needs an engine or clutch anyway?) paint and tools, and are available with different tire sizes and wheels depending on the kit you choose. The unpainted jig-welded frame used in these kits is made of thick wall, mild-steel tubing. Assembly manual included. If you need an engine, these kits will accept Briggs & Stratton or Tecumseh horizontal shaft engines up to 5 hp. Dimensions are:
Frame Wheelbase: 41" from the front spindle bracket to the rear axle opening
Frame Width: 21 3/4" across the back of the frame
Frame Overall length: 48" from the front of the frame to the back of the frame
Frame Height: 5-5/8" from the top of the frame in the back to the bottom of the frame
Front Axle Width: 26" from the end of the spindle bracket across the frame to the end of the other spindle bracket

This sturdy, double tube construction, high quality unit is jig-welded and made of 1” O.D. x .083” wall steel tubing. Comes complete with Steering Hoop Assembly, Engine Mounting Plate, Spindle Brackets, Steering Shaft Bushing, Pedal Bushings, Live Axle Bearing Hangers, and Control Rod Anchors. Well designed and rugged, the frame weighs just 31 lbs.
