This is footage from the SFVISBF race, A BRIDGE TOO FAR, held on July 13, 2008.
Race date 07/13/08 the course was entitled “Bridge Too Far” as the windy canyon road’s lowest point
and the end of the course was a large bridge. The total course length was about 3 miles long and featured many medium grade
turns to test the driver’s skill. We had 27 racers up on this hill, going to show that the SFVISBF is still a force
to be dealt with. Below is a link to some footage that one of the drivers’s put together from the front pack of cars,
worth a look. The second clip is from a mid-pack driver. It’s not a Neighborhood Watch vid, but still entertaining.
Also are a few pics of some of the action. There were no mishaps or accidents on this run; the group was in high spirits as
we continue our soapbox journey. The front pack attained speeds in excess of 55mph, feels really fast when you're inches from
the ground. Anyway, enjoy.

Adam Guzman drew the ACE card for the start. However his crew chief did
not prepare the car for the race correctly. A body for aerodynamics and weight would have sealed the deal. Live and learn.

San Francisco Illegal Soapbox Society
travels to SFV to race against
the
valley's best. Fun sure, but the road was
bunk. Had to hit the brakes three times,
Bobblehead lane for sure!
